Maybe it’s time to stop carrying everything alone

‍ A calm and supportive space for anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, relationship challenges, and reconnecting with yourself.

You might look like you’re coping on the outside, while internally feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or constantly overthinking.

Perhaps you’re always there for everyone else, but rarely slow down long enough to check in with yourself.

Maybe you’ve been carrying stress, pressure, or self-doubt for so long that it’s become your normal.

At The Inner Growth Journey, you don’t have to navigate it all alone.

About Me

Hi, I’m Patty - counsellor and founder of The Inner Growth Journey.

My path to this work began with my own lived experience. For many years, I was deeply focused on caring for others while quietly navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional tension. Like many people, I learned to manage life from the outside, without realising how much was happening within.

Becoming a parent was a turning point for me. Wanting to do the best I could led me to a parenting course that gently opened my eyes and invited me to turn inward. That experience became the beginning of my counselling journey. A journey that helped me understand my inner world, soften my inner critic, and build tools to meet life with greater calm and clarity.

Over time, that inner work brought a sense of peace I hadn’t realised was missing. It also led me back to university to study counselling, where I discovered my true passion and purpose.

Today, I feel deeply honoured to walk alongside others as they explore their own inner journeys. I believe growth doesn’t need to be rushed and healing doesn’t need to be forced. My approach is warm, grounded, and gently supportive, creating a space where you can feel safe to reflect, reconnect, and grow at your own pace.

I understand how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support, and my aim is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and never judged.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin, just a willingness to start where you are.

What to Expect

Starting counselling can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to carrying everything on your own. My aim is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel safe, heard, and able to move at your own pace.
